Search has changed a bit since the days of AltaVista and Ask Jeeves – and yes, I was there for all of it.

Today, it’s not just about topping Google’s results. It’s about showing up in AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Jasper and Google’s AI Overviews. That’s the new search game – and luckily, I’m a bit of a veteran at learning the rules (then bending them slightly).

With over 23 years in digital marketing, I’ve worked with clients in sectors where getting things right really matters – finance, healthcare, law, property and travel. These are industries where trust isn’t a buzzword – it’s the whole point.

Whether it’s traditional SEO or the brave new world of AI search, I believe in doing things properly: clear strategy, measurable results and no smoke and mirrors.
